
The passion in our food comes from the passion of our Chefs. Our food is prepared lovingly with only the freshest of ingredients, authentic recipes and pride. Love for food is what being an Italian-American is all about.
It's always been that way, all the way back to the old country. But we do things a little differently in Little Italy.
One of the most noticeable differences is that Italian-American dishes contain more meat. When Italian-Americans first came to this country, they were happy to find sausage, pork and beef in greater abundance than in Italy. We've been adding generous portions of the finest meats to our recipes ever since.
Italian-Americans are also pasta perfectionists. Many dishes contain noodles cooked "al dente", which basically means firm but not too hard. That might sound vague to you, but getting them just right is an art form to us.
There's so much more to authentic, Italian-American cuisine, but it's a lot more fun to taste it rather than read about it. If you want to learn more, you'll just have to join us for a perfect and memorable meal served family style or one dish at a time.
