Our Management and Culinary structure lets each manager/chef focus on one main area of restaurant operations. Once a manager/chef has mastered a specific area of responsibility, he/she will have the opportunity to move on to the next area. The opportunities for careers at Maggiano's Little Italy are divided into 4 categories: Restaurant Management, Culinary Chef, Private Dining Sales and Accounting Operations.

Restaurant Management Positions:

Imagine entertaining thousands of guests in your restaurant every week. As a Front of the House Restaurant Manager on track to becoming a General Manager, you will direct this party when you start your career with us in one of these three key positions:

* Restaurant Manager
You will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day Front of the House operations including dining room, bar and carryout.

* Kitchen Operations Manager
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of food purchasing, receiving, cost control, inventory levels and BOH sanitation.

* Banquet Operations Manager
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our in-house banquet facilities, which accommodate from 300 to 1,000 guests.

Chef Positions:

Love to cook but want to do so in a structured kitchen with opportunities for career advancement? As a Culinary Sous Chef, on track to become an Executive Chef, you will start your career with us in one of these two positions:

* Sous Chef
As a culinary professional, you will be responsible for opening or closing the kitchen while focusing on the quality, daily inventory, production and storage of all food prep for the entire restaurant operation. You will also be responsible for contributing to the creation of daily lunch and dinner specials, menu changes, and preparation of employee meals.

* Banquet Sous Chef
Your main focus will center on the successful execution of banquet kitchen operations. These include menu development, production and staffing needs, product quality and ordering, and meal-service supervision at all private functions. You will also be responsible for contributing to the creation of daily lunch and dinner specials, menu changes, and preparation of employee meals.

Maggiano's Little Italy also offers nontraditional opportunities and careers in the following areas:

As a Private Dining Sales Manager, you will be our on-site Private Party Guru! Your focus will be to showcase and sell the restaurant's on-site private dining facilities to both business and social clientele. You will also be responsible for soliciting new banquet customers through prospecting, cold calling and local marketing.

As an Accounting Operations Manager, you will manage the accounting, payroll and administrative functions at the restaurant level. Your responsibilities will also include benefit and personnel administration and general restaurant operations support.
