Have you ever heard of this Handcrafted Classic Cocktail? It is believed that the Negroni cocktail originated in Florence, Italy in 1919 when Count Camillo Negroni asked for gin in his favorite cocktail to strengthen it. The bartender also added an orange garnish. After the cocktail became popular, the Negroni family started their Negroni Distillery. If you’re a fan of gin, vermouth, and bitters, you’ll love making this at home.
1 ¼ oz Hendrick’s Gin
1 ¼ oz Campari
1 ¼ oz Carpano Antica (the 1st Italian sweet vermouth)
Large ice cube(s)
Fill an Old Fashioned glass with large ice cube(s). Combine ingredients in glass and stir well.
Garnish with a freshly peeled and twisted orange peel so that the orange oil sits on top of the cocktail. Enjoy!
