Maggiano’s Little Italy Chef Tips: 4 Ways to Use Vera’s Lemon Cookies

One of Maggiano’s most cherished desserts is Vera’s Lemon Cookies. These crescent shaped lemon delights glazed with lemon frosting are always a hit. Guests love the tins they receive when they order by the dozen. With that in mind, we have four ways to reinvent the wheel…ahem, Vera’s Lemon Cookies.

1. Make cookie sandwiches: mix vanilla frosting with crumbled graham crackers and spread between two Vera’s Lemon Cookies.
2. Create a delicious parfait: layer blueberry filling, crumbled Vera’s Lemon Cookies, and whipped cream to create a refreshing, light dessert. Sprinkle some shaved coconut on top to finish it off.
