Chef Johnny began his career with Maggiano’s Little Italy in 1998 where he was instrumental in opening three successful Maggiano’s restaurants in Texas and we’re proud to call him our Senior Manager of Culinary Research and Development!
A true Cajun, the high energy chef was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and enjoys playing golf and being outdoors. He particularly loves spending time with his wife Anna and his two daughters, Layla & Morgan, who are already in the kitchen cooking with Dad. Layla claims that no one’s spaghetti is as good her Daddy’s, while Morgan likes anything her Daddy prepares. He loves cooking, hunting and fishing and if he wasn’t a chef, he would be a hunting guide.
You’ve already tasted his creations like October’s featured dish, Smoked Nueske Bacon Carbonara with fresh chitarra pasta, peas, garlic cream sauce, and topped with a poached egg .
